The Emmit Till and Trayvon Martin case are very similar. One thing that was similar about them was that they were both colored. And they were both killed and nobody knew by who. A difference would be that Emmit was killed in an even worse way then Trayvon. Travon was just shot, and Emmit was tortured.
Those are some similarities and differences for Emmit and Trayvon's case.

Persepolis Blog 1 .

We have been reading Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi. This book seems really interesting to me. In this book it became a law to wear a viel because it was suppose to be a symbol of Capatilism. The kids would always take out the viels during school, and play around with them. Boys and girls were together. Marjanes mother dyed her hair becasue she came out in the newspaper. Marjane wants be be a prophet to help out other people and change the world.She also wants to be a prophet because the maid dosn't sit with them for dinner. Marjane talks to god about being a prophet. She usually talks to him in the night. Fidel Castro was a Prime minister from Cuba.

I need a wish, just one.  



I chose this 6 word memoir because it's very true. Everybody needs a wish at some time. I decided to write about wishes because not everybody gets what they want in life. Only if wishes can come true alot of people would be so much happier. Like if I had to choose a wish, it would be to be able to fly. Thats my wish, other people would be something else. But for me thats my wish. It would be awesome. If I could have more than one wish, that will be even more awesome! Well thats my 6 word memoir, "I need a wish, just one".

Whale Rider

Whale Rider was a preety kewl movie even though I didn't get some parts of it. Whale Rider was about a young girl named Pakai, she was from a tribe. Pakai's grandfather didn't like her at the beggining of the movie, but then at the end he did like her. He didnt like her because she wanted to be a leader of the tribe. Her grandfather only wanted guys to be leader not girls. Pakai proved she could be as good as a leader as a boy can be. She proved it by retrieving the necklace from the ocean. She was very brave for that. She proved she can be a good leader, just like a guy would do.

Soccer



Soccer Is My Passion .

Soccer is  my favorite sport,  I just love to play it. Some people don't like soccer because they play football or baseball, but me I love soccer. I like to play it and watch it. I actually got inspired to play it by a soccer player named Cristiano Ronaldo. 

I used to always admire him and say I want to be like him. I always wanted to be as good as him, but I'll never be at his level.  I think of soccer as a part of my life, without soccer I'll be bored everyday. I play soccer everyday of my life!

I'm not going to say that i'm all great at it. I know there's better people than me out there. But if somebody wants a challenge, i'm always here.
